Meet Giuliana

Giuliana provides telehealth psychology services to individuals across the lifespan throughout Australia, supporting people navigating grief and loss in all its forms - not only following the death of a loved one, but also after divorce, estrangement, chronic illness, career upheaval, and the quieter, often unrecognised losses that ask us to become someone new before we feel ready.

How She Works

Giuliana understands that grief is rarely just sadness. More often, it brings disorientation - a sense that life's story has been interrupted, leaving people unsure how to move forward. She takes an unhurried, client-led approach, working at each person's pace to understand what has shifted and helping them reconnect with themselves over time. She knows that meaningful healing is supported not only by evidence-based therapy, but also by the trusting relationship built together.

Background

Giuliana holds a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary), a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Psychology), a Graduate Diploma of Advanced Psychology (Honours) with First Class Honours, and a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Queensland.

After completing her Bachelor of Education, Giuliana spent seven years working as a primary school teacher and school leader while simultaneously training as a psychologist. This foundation in education continues to shape her therapeutic approach, which is grounded in patience, authenticity, and a genuine commitment to helping people in ways that are practical, compassionate, and evidence-based.

Alongside her clinical work, Giuliana is completing a PhD at Curtin University, where her research explores grief across different types of loss.
